About the launch
Agent Vault gives AI agents a way to log into apps and complete credit card payments without ever seeing the password or the real card number. Self Labs built it for people who already ask assistants to book travel, shop, and handle repeat tasks, and who do not want those secrets sitting in an agent's context. The agent fills checkout and login forms with stand-in tokens. The real credential is swapped in only inside a trusted execution environment at the moment of submission, so the store sees an ordinary transaction and the agent never touches the underlying card or password. Users set spending caps by day, week, month, and transaction, limit the card to named merchants, and can revoke access at any time. The same vault works across assistants, which matters as people run more than one agent and switch tools often. It connects with Muse, OpenClaw, Hermes, Grok Bot, Claude, and Codex, and credentials stay in one place rather than being copied into each agent. Merchants do not need to integrate anything. In a private beta, users logged in and completed one-time purchases and subscriptions across hundreds of stores, including Booking.com, Instacart, Roblox, Figma, Dropbox, Apple, eBay, and Etsy. Self Labs, led by CEO and co-founder Rene Reinsberg, already provides privacy-preserving proof-of-human and identity infrastructure used by companies including Google and Opera. The company says that stack is trusted by over 20 million users. Agent Vault is available today in Free, Plus, and Enterprise tiers, and the first 1,000 sign-ups receive three months of Plus at no charge.
