What we collect
When you RSVP to a launch event on launchvideo.com we collect your name and email address, and, only if you choose to provide it, your mobile phone number. Event hosts additionally provide account details through our sign-in provider. We collect standard technical data (such as IP-derived rate-limiting hashes) to keep the service safe.
How we use it
Your details are used to deliver the event experience you signed up for: RSVP confirmations, calendar invitations, optional reminders, and a notification when the launch goes live. The host of an event you RSVP to can see your name, email, and phone number for that event only. We do not sell your personal information, and no mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messages (SMS)
SMS is strictly opt-in via an unchecked consent box on the RSVP form. If you opt in, you will receive up to two messages per event: an opt-in confirmation and a go-live alert. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of RSVPing.
Email preferences
Every event email includes a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes you from launch updates across all events hosted on the platform.
Data retention and deletion
We keep event data for as long as the event page exists. To have your information deleted, email hello@launchvideo.com and we will remove it within 30 days.
