Terms of Service

The service

launchvideo.com lets founders create launch-event pages, invite guests, and notify them when a launch goes live. Guests can RSVP to events, receive email updates, and optionally opt in to SMS alerts.

Acceptable use for hosts

Hosts may only invite people they have a genuine relationship with. Buying contact lists, sending unsolicited invitations, or misrepresenting an event is prohibited and results in sending limits, review, or removal. We enforce per-event guest limits and monitor bounce and complaint rates.

Messaging program

Email and SMS notifications are sent on behalf of event hosts through our infrastructure. SMS is opt-in only, limited to an opt-in confirmation and a go-live alert per event; reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Content

Hosts are responsible for the content of their event pages, uploads, and message copy. We may remove content or events that are unlawful, deceptive, or abusive.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Launch Video Company is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
