Infisical is an open source platform engineering teams use to store, rotate, and deliver secrets, manage certificates, and control privileged access, so credentials do not sit in code or shared files. The company has raised a $40 million Series B at a $600 million valuation, led by Elad Gil, to extend that infrastructure to AI agents that need access to production systems. More than 1,300 organizations use Infisical, including OpenRouter, Wise, and the US Government, and the open source project has passed 30,000 GitHub stars. Cofounders Vlad Matsiiako, Tony Dang, and Maidul Islam met at Cornell, founded the company in 2022, and went through Y Combinator. The company says it was already cash-flow positive before the round, which will fund secrets, certificate, and privileged access management, plus Agent Vault, so an AI agent can reach a system without receiving the credential.
