Fo MCP lets agents people already use hand real-world work to Fo, Wajo's action agent. From ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, or a terminal, Fo can place a phone call, book an appointment, or pay with a single-use card, and it can also reach devices in the room. Fo opened to a wider set of users in late September. This October release opens those tools over MCP, webhooks, and an API, so another agent or a piece of hardware can start a job and get a result back. The behaviors in the launch are specific. A lamp can shake its head and show a reminder to get you going. Fo can nudge a vacuum into a deep clean. A command-line session can have Fo call you with an update. Founder Shivani Poddar says more than a hundred developers have already built on early access, including a fall-detection companion that calls an emergency contact, a collections agent that chases unpaid bills for a small business, and a smart mirror that checks daily outfits to learn shopping preferences. Fo already operated with its own phone number, inbox, and payment card, and it can pass a stuck errand to a human assistant. Poddar founded Wajo in San Francisco after natural language research at Carnegie Mellon, multimodal work at Meta, and years launching models at Google DeepMind and products at Google Labs.
