About the launch
Wabi 2.0 is a messenger for plans that involve more than one person. You talk to the agent, it does the work, and it builds the small app that work needs, while a partner, a friend, or a group chat can join the same thread and see what changed. A school pickup change can update a family calendar for everyone in it. A show you both want can become a night that works and a set of tickets. A trip that keeps coming up can turn into dates, an itinerary, and a booking. Ongoing tasks sit in separate threads, each with interfaces you can tap, such as a calorie tracker and a workout log, or a calendar of kids' activities. Eugenia Kuyda, who founded the AI companion Replika, built the first Wabi as a platform for making and sharing mini-apps from a prompt. The messenger opened by invite in late September and is now live on phone and Mac.
