Plato is a titanium ring for near-silent speech. Press and hold to turn quiet speech into writing, double tap to edit selected text by voice, and triple tap to send a task to an AI assistant. It is for people who want to draft a note, revise a message, or prompt an agent at a desk, on a train, or in a busy cafe without speaking at full volume. Preorders are open with this launch, while voice is becoming a normal way to work with AI and most microphones still make that speech easy for people nearby to hear. The ring has a titanium shell in four finishes, Gold, Rosé, Silver, and Stealth, along with a touchpad, haptic feedback, and an LED. Augmentation Company lists IP68 water resistance, two to four days of battery life, and a case that supports 10 charges. Founder Edition preorders are $199 in US sizes 7 to 13, and the first batch is scheduled to ship in December. A companion app, listed as coming to the App Store and Google Play, supports local processing and encrypted cloud processing and can be linked to outside agents.
