About the launch
Superhuman just opened AI views in Superhuman Docs to every workspace that has not turned AI off. A teammate describes the tool they need in plain language, and Docs builds an interactive view on the table data the team already keeps in the doc, with no code and no separate app to deploy. The feature sat in private beta after Coda became Superhuman Docs in July 2026, so this is the first time the broader customer base can create these views themselves. Built-in layouts such as grids, calendars, cards, and forms remain, and an AI view covers the cases those layouts do not: a triage board, a heatmap, a check-in kiosk, a branching intake form, or a drag-and-drop seating chart. Edits write back to the same table, so a seat change or a new row shows up in every view on that data, and teammates see the update in real time. One table can drive several views at once, including a personal task list that knows who is signed in and a shared board for the whole team. Views can also sit on data synced from Jira, Asana, or Salesforce, and buttons inside a view can run AI on that data, such as assigning seats from free-form notes or triaging incoming bugs. Doc Makers on Pro, Team/Business, and Enterprise plans can create as many AI views as they want, at no extra charge. Free workspace members and Editors in paid workspaces can create one each, and anyone can keep using views that already exist. Sharing follows the doc. Views are assembled from reviewed components and reach outside data through Superhuman's Pack connectors, under the same permissions as the rest of the doc.
