What ShogunAI launched

Your AI forgets you every time you close it. Every assistant today works the same way. You open a chat, re-explain your job, get an answer, and start from zero tomorrow. Smart, sure. Useful? Only while you're typing. It doesn't know about yesterday's meeting. It does https://t.co/sHb99lDtW2

About the launch
ShogunAI is a private memory assistant for Mac, built for founders and operators whose work is split across email, meetings, documents, and chat. It keeps that context on the computer and uses it to answer questions, draft replies, and prepare the next step, so an assistant can pick up yesterday's meeting without a fresh explanation and without a full work history living on someone else's server. The app answers from the user's own mail, meetings, and notes and shows where each answer came from. Holding the right Option key continues a sentence in the active app. Meetings become a recap and next steps when the call ends, and a morning view lists what changed along with drafts already prepared. Screen history can be searched in plain language. The assistant can prepare replies and a daily brief while the user is away. Anything that would reach another person waits for approval. Memory stays on the Mac, meeting audio is not saved, and there is no free tier funded by user data. Standard is listed at $49 a month when billed annually. This opening offers the first 500 users a month free. Toru, who posted the launch and identifies as founder of Select, Inc., and Woojin have said they began the product after a first-place demo at a YC RFS hackathon.
