How Hark launched Hark app on X

Hark Pro is a free app on iOS, Android, and the web that handles everyday work in one chat thread, including food orders, travel bookings, bill payments, and tasks on sites you already use. Brett Adcock, founder of Hark and of the robotics company Figure AI, started the lab in 2025, and in May 2026 Hark raised more than $700 million at a $6 billion valuation. The app uses Handoff, a cloud browser that logs into accounts and carries a job through to the end, plus memory of details you choose to share. Hark released the app on October 6, 2026, and this launch asks that system to place a real food order for people in the United States. On October 16, Adcock said Hark would cover $1 million in pizza, U. S. delivery only, first come, first served, until that budget was spent. Users download Hark Pro, connect an email to limit fraud, and ask in chat for a free pizza. Hark offers three local shops through DoorDash, or accepts a place the user names, then asks for size and toppings. The user signs in to DoorDash so a $30 gift card can be applied. If there is no DoorDash account, Hark can create one. The user confirms the order before it is sent. The launch video presents the order as dinner from a local pizzeria, with the evening left for friends and family while Hark handles the restaurant and the payment. Hark later said the giveaway had sold out, with tens of thousands of pizzas delivered and the orders finished through Handoff, including logins and payment. The promotion is a public test of a computer-use agent completing a purchase on a live consumer site.
