About the launch
Kled pays people through a mobile app to contribute photos, video, audio, and other data, then licenses those datasets to AI labs, governments, and research groups. Avi Patel is the founder. Over the weekend a frontier lab sent a multichannel Korean audio task, and within 48 hours it was live in the iOS app. Kled says it is now sourcing thousands of Korean speakers to produce millions of hours of that audio. The spec calls for per-speaker isolated channels, speaker attribution, persistent speaker IDs across recordings, a five-hour capture limit per speaker, audio at 16 kHz or higher, and documented consent for AI training use. That turnaround follows the September 30 release of Kled V3. The company says a lab can specify a dataset across image, video, audio, text, or annotation and have it deployed to more than 500,000 opt-in contributors within 72 hours. Other labs can browse datasets or submit a request at kled.ai/datasets. The team reviews each submission and follows up with qualified labs.
