How Antropi launched out of stealth on X
Precision CNC parts in days
What Antropi Robotics launched

We're out of stealth! @antropirobotics builds fully autonomous factories for metal parts. Our goal: US quality, China prices, delivery under 24 hours. In 6 months, we built our first factory, started shipping, and turned profitable. All bootstrapped. https://t.co/385KqrWWRd https://t.co/3u20hmS0rP

About the launch
Hardware teams lose design cycles waiting on CNC quotes and open machine time. Antropi Robotics sells inspected CNC metal parts from a factory built to run day and night. A team uploads a CAD file, chooses material and tolerance, and gets a measured part with an inspection report, rather than buying machines or staffing a shop. The Y Combinator Fall 2026 company says its first factory, in Bengaluru, is already shipping with lead times under seven days. The target after that is a US network that can deliver supported parts locally in as little as 24 hours, at prices meant to compete with machining from China. Their Factory OS connects job planning, CNC machines, robots, and inspection. Software turns the CAD file into a machining program that an engineer approves, robots load and unload, and every part is checked before it ships. Founders Naman Gupta and Shubh Agarwal have built hardware together since college in 2017, including Mars rover projects. Gupta was the first employee at Accio Robotics and later ran his family's CNC shop. Agarwal completed a master's in robotics at the University of Pennsylvania. Coming out of stealth, Gupta said they built the factory, started shipping, and turned profitable within six months, and that the work was bootstrapped. The launch video describes the line as booked for the next three months. They have started deliveries to US hardware teams, including a hand delivery to Pave Robotics, and they plan hundreds and eventually thousands of microfactories on the same software. A Rush option and agent ordering through an MCP server are in progress. Quotes are at antropi.shop.
