Turns patient records into study-ready datasets for healthcare research teams
What Sutrix launched

Today we’re launching Sutrix (YC F26): AI software that turns patient records into study-ready datasets for healthcare research teams. Across 10+ institutions, we’ve cut data preparation time by 80%, helping teams build evidence faster for more personalized care. https://t.co/U3sK3pASL1

About the launch
Sutrix, from Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch, builds AI software that gets healthcare research teams from raw patient records to an analysis table. It links EHR data, clinical notes, surveys, and wearable exports, then applies the study's rules for who qualifies, which visits count, and how outcomes are calculated. The public launch follows use at more than 10 institutions, where Sutrix reports an 80% cut in data preparation time, the stretch of work that often delays answers about which treatments work and for whom. Staff still spend months pulling records from disconnected systems and checking them by hand, and a protocol change can force that work to start over. Sutrix standardizes codes and units across those sources and flags records that fail the study rules for review, with the source evidence attached. When new records arrive or definitions change, the same workflow regenerates the dataset, while clinicians keep charting in the systems they already use. Brothers Ritvik Panuganti and Supratik Panuganti founded the company after building an injury surveillance system at Hospital for Special Surgery that is now used by more than 700 teams. Ritvik, CEO, is a published clinical researcher who has worked at HSS, Emory, and Georgia Tech. Supratik, CTO, founded and exited Kairo, a company backed by a16z Speedrun, and built production AI agents at Amazon.
