Engineering teams use it to hand off implementation and verification, then review the pull request. This launch is a customer video of Mercor engineers giving Devin long tasks that keep running after they close their laptops. Devin runs that work on its own cloud machine, with its own environment, terminal, and browser. It can install dependencies, start the app, click through the interface to check its work, and open a pull request when it finishes. The session is not tied to a laptop, so it can continue for hours, and a team can run many of those sessions in parallel. The engineer still defines the task, checks progress, and reviews the output.
