How Voyager launched half-price AI video generation on X
Runs AI video models at half Higgsfield's price with fewer wasted generations
What Voyager launched

We just made a 5x cheaper Higgsfield. Voyager gives you AI video models like Seedance 2.5 at half Higgsfield’s price. More importantly, it cuts wasted generations. Users get final outputs in 2–3x fewer API calls. Half the price per generation. A fraction of the generations. https://t.co/e7ONFHDZe7

About the launch
Voyager gives creators, editors, marketers, and small studios a desktop agent that generates AI video and finishes it into an editable cut, and this launch is about the cost of getting a shot they actually keep. The agent calls models such as Seedance 2.5, then cuts, captions, and scores the footage in Voyager’s own editors or in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. For a 10-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p, the company lists $2.30 on its Creator plan against $4.62 on the Higgsfield API. It says generation is billed at the provider rate with no markup, and that an existing Higgsfield account can be connected and used inside the app. The other bill is the generations people throw away before a clip is usable. Voyager’s pricing page illustrates a kept 10-second Seedance clip as about four tries and $9.22 on Voyager, against about twenty tries and $92.44 elsewhere, and says those try counts come from what its users see. The launch post says users reach a final output in two to three times fewer API calls. The company ties that gap to an agent that storyboards, applies practices for each model, and returns an editable project instead of another round of prompt-box retries. Voyager is made by Nullframe, the company behind Moda. Anvisha Pai, founder and CEO of Moda and a former Dropbox product manager, posted the launch. Y Combinator lists John Holliman, a Moda founder and former Dover CTO, as a Voyager founder. The Mac app requires Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later, while Windows 11 and Linux are in alpha, and users can bring their own Claude or ChatGPT account plus their own model keys.
