About the launch
Selendis opened its public waitlist on November 3, 2026 for Archon, a video foundation model for creators and the teams that cut their footage. The San Francisco lab runs Archon inside a multiplayer video editor that takes unedited clips to a completed cut in minutes, matched to one creator's taste, with no separate training run before the first edit. Taste comes from decisions made in that editor, from the creator's past videos, and from reference videos they cite. The company says each finished edit makes the model more accurate for that person or team. Selendis is in early access. The waitlist reserves a username, and the launch post offers early access plus three months free. DJ Steve Aoki co-founded the company with Gavin. Aoki said his editing teams can now keep up with how much he shoots, and that he started Selendis so other creators could publish in their own style faster and at lower cost. Gavin described the same problem from the creator side: hundreds of hours of footage, and a tool meant to speed up the cut for individuals and teams.
