Clueso is a video production platform built around agents that operate real software, record the workflow, write and voice the script, then edit the footage into a finished video. The San Francisco company sells it to marketing, customer education, onboarding, and training teams who otherwise have to remake product videos by hand every time an interface changes, with Atlassian, Zendesk, Gainsight, Seismic and Ironclad among the named customers alongside GitLab, Samsara and Legrand cited in the launch tweet.
The launch marks a $10 million Series A led by Dharana Capital, with Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures joining as new investors and Y Combinator and f7 Ventures continuing to participate , bringing total funding to roughly $12 million. Clueso was founded by Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash and Neel Balar , and originally started by helping customer-facing teams create product tutorials faster before expanding into marketing, sales enablement, and internal documentation.
What makes the timing notable is the maintenance angle. Rather than generating synthetic footage from a text prompt, Clueso's agents capture real product behavior and can rerun the same workflow when the underlying software changes, refreshing the output without a new recording session. The platform also ships an MCP server that lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT create, edit and manage videos directly through the platform , positioning video production as something an assistant can call as a step inside a larger agent workflow.

Automating video is cool but what I actually want to know: how do updates ship? If a product UI changes, does the training video re-record itself or does some poor soul still open ScreenFlow at 2am?

Staff eng question: is the agent actually driving a browser to capture flows or are customers uploading raw screen recordings and you're stitching? Big difference for reliability.

The first 2 seconds of your launch video are a logo wipe. In 2025 that's cardinal sin number one, you lost 40% of the autoplay crowd before Atlassian even showed up.

Every company having a video platform is the new every company having a Notion. Congrats on being the one that doesn't look like a hostage tape.

Hot take: customer education videos are the most undervalued surface in SaaS and nobody is willing to admit their Loom library is a graveyard.

Tagline rewrite, on the house: 'Ship video as fast as you ship product.' You can venmo me later.

The market for internal training video is actively shrinking because nobody watches them. You've built a very elegant tool for content that gets 11% completion rates.

ok wait, the logo wall is unreal for a Series A. Atlassian AND Zendesk AND GitLab is not a normal slide, that's the slide VCs put on their own websites.

Curious what the team size is on this. If it's under 20 people serving a thousand orgs that's the real flex, not the raise.

The tweet buries the lede. '1,000+ orgs' should've been line one, the raise is line two. You optimized for VCs skimming not buyers skimming.

Been building an adjacent tool for devrel video. Y'all are clearly further along, but I will die on the hill that voiceover quality is the whole game and nobody has nailed it yet.

Every tool that saves you time eventually becomes the tool you can't live without and then the tool you resent. Clueso is on step one, enjoy it.

Fifth AI video platform launch I've seen this quarter and the first one where the demo didn't make me question reality. The bar was on the floor, you cleared it comfortably.

I'm roughly 3 weeks from launching something tangentially related and this tweet just reset my timeline to 3 months. Thanks for the humbling.

Who's hiring on the GTM side here? Have a candidate who ran customer education at a mid-market SaaS, obsessive about completion metrics.
