Clueso is an AI agent that produces product videos and documentation for SaaS teams without requiring anyone to record, narrate, or edit the footage manually. The agent logs into a product, navigates through workflows, and captures polished screen recordings on its own, then layers in voiceover, timed zoom-ins, spotlights on important UI elements, cursor callouts, motion graphics, and brand styling. It is aimed at marketing teams that need launch videos, support teams that need how-to tutorials, and sales teams that need demos , along with training and customer success functions that ship new content every release.
This launch matters because engineering teams push features faster than content teams can document them, and Loom-style recorders still require a human to sit down, record a clean take, and edit it. Clueso is positioning its agent as the layer that closes that gap, generating a shippable video every time a feature ships. The company also extends the same pipeline to written documentation and guided tours, so a single agent run can output a video, a help article, and a walkthrough from the same product session.
Clueso was founded in 2023 by Akash Anand, Neel Balar, and Prajwal Prakash , went through Y Combinator's W23 batch , and operates out of San Francisco and Bengaluru. Akash Anand, the CEO, is leading the launch and framing this release as a direct challenge to existing screen recorders by removing the human editor from the loop entirely.

Killed Loom and Screen Studio in the tweet, but the demo still opens with a screen recording. The circle of screen life.

The 'fully autonomously' claim is doing Olympic-level gymnastics here. What happens when my UI has a modal that appears 3 seconds late?

Those zoom-ins hit on beat which is more than I can say for most product videos where the cursor wanders like it's lost in a Costco.

Hook is strong, but you buried the motion graphics reveal at the end. That should be the first 2 seconds of the video, not the dessert.

Kerning on the Clueso wordmark in the thumbnail is tight enough to give me anxiety. The 'lu' is touching. Please feed it some space.

Curious how the docs generation handles versioning when the UI changes next sprint. Is there a diffing story or do I re-record every Tuesday?

Every SaaS tool this year has an 'agent' that captures screens. At some point one of you is going to have to define what agent means before I start charging a tax.

Bold to declare two products dead in your opening line. Loom users churning to you or to a Notion doc is a very different retention story.
