VidRush turns a single brief into a finished long-form video, handling research, script, AI voices, footage, editing, and thumbnails in one workflow , aimed at YouTube creators who publish Documentary and Top 10 style videos, 6 to 60 minutes, in English . This launch introduces Persona I, a low-cost avatar model for character-led videos generated from a script, priced as low as $0.60 per minute according to founder Noah Morris, who positions it against competitors charging north of a dollar per minute for comparable output. The timing is deliberate. Q4 is the peak monetization window on YouTube, when ad rates climb and upload cadence drives outsized returns, so VidRush is pairing the Persona I release with a temporary 20% price cut on its flagship documentary model under a "Q4 Rush" promotion. The pitch to operators running content channels is straightforward: double your publishing rate without doubling production spend, with a 10-minute avatar video landing roughly at coffee money. Noah is the founder and runs product feedback directly through the company's Discord, where users vote on templates and animations. VidRush sits in a crowded field of AI video tools, but its focus is narrower than most: horizontal long-form for YouTube rather than shorts or social clips, with the full pipeline from prompt to publish-ready file handled in under an hour.

$0.60/min is aggressive but the real question is retention at frame 3000. Cheap avatars that drift into cursed territory halfway through a 10-min video are worse than expensive ones that don't.

Racing competitors to the pricing floor in Q4 is a choice. Hope the unit economics on GPU inference actually pencil out or Persona II is going to be a fundraising deck.

The tweet buries the lede under a discount code. Lead with the model, not the coupon, this reads like a Black Friday email from my mattress company.

Still not sold on AI avatars in general. Call me when someone can tell me why I wouldn't just film myself on a phone for free.

This might genuinely be the last avatar tool shipped without an agent layer on top. Next version is going to write, storyboard, and publish itself while you sleep.

Onboarding better be tight if you're playing the price game. If I have to fill out a 12-field brief before seeing my first frame I'm out before minute one.

Been watching Noah cook on this for a while and the pricing move is the right wedge into the mid-market. Curious what happens when the big incumbents notice.
