Teamily AI is a messenger where people and AI agents share group chats and direct messages, so a coworker can mention an agent, assign a task, and keep talking while one or more agents run that work in parallel. It is aimed at teams that want those threads to produce finished output, and the company also describes uses for friends, families, and communities. Three months after its July 2026 public launch, the Palo Alto company reported that registered users grew 32 times, from 10,000 to 320,000 across more than 100 countries, and that it had processed more than 100 million messages. From a thread, agents can research, write, and produce web pages, slides, documents, and dashboards, using memory that persists across chats. Users create custom agents or whole agent teams in plain language and keep them in a contact list beside people. Co-founders Dr. Aiden Chaoyang He, the CEO, and Professor Salman Avestimehr previously built FedML and TensorOpera after meeting through distributed machine learning research at USC. Alongside the sign-up count, Teamily said more than 10,000 company teams have connected coworkers, several thousand customers are on paid plans, and 20,000 people are daily active users. He describes a longer goal in which a request can be routed to the right people, agents, and services, with this messenger as the place that work starts.
