About the launch
Sume lets creators, marketers, and developers generate video and images from models such as Seedance, Kling, and Veo in one workspace and through one API, billed at the provider's price with no markup and no subscription. This week the San Francisco company partnered with HeyGen so free users can run HeyGen Video 1, a model that generates picture, dialogue, and sound in one pass from text, a still, or reference media, in clips of 5 to 15 seconds at resolutions from 480p to 2K. On Sume's catalog the paid rate for that model starts at $0.01 per second at 480p. Sume's account is offering the first 10,000 accounts 100 video tickets for HeyGen Video 1, and CEO David Im's launch post called the same offer 100 free videos for free users, with no annual HeyGen plan required. The tickets cover that model only, for a limited time, while other models on the platform stay pay as you go. David Im and Chase Huh co-founded Sume in San Francisco. The homepage already frames the product as cheaper than Higgsfield, with provider pricing and no subscription. The HeyGen tickets are a limited way for free users to try one more model on that same account before they pay.
