Sauna 2.0 reads messages that arrive in email, Slack, LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp, then replies in the user's voice. It is for people whose work is split across those apps and who want that queue handled without opening each one. You talk to it from iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, email, or Superhuman, and it contacts you when it is unsure or when something is done. The launch includes $50 in credits. This release moves Sauna out of a browser tab. The first version could remember context and draft real work, but you still had to sit down and ask. Version 2.0 runs in the channels people already use, so it can answer threads, move meetings, and send follow-ups while the laptop stays closed. When a decision needs a person, the work waits for a yes, a no, or a voice note on what should change. You choose what it may send on its own and what it must check first, and you can read everything it sends. Sauna is the current product of Wordware, the San Francisco company co-founded by CEO Filip Kozera and CTO Robert Chandler, who met studying at Cambridge. Wordware went through Y Combinator’s Summer 2024 batch and raised a $30 million seed led by Spark Capital, then shifted from a natural-language builder for agents to this assistant. It connects to more than 3,000 tools and apps, is SOC 2 Type II compliant, and does not use customer data to train models.
