Ramp Accounts Receivable is a new addition to Ramp's finance platform that automates the invoice-to-cash workflow for finance teams, extending the company's existing spend, cards, and payables tools into the revenue side of the business. Ramp turns contracts and purchase orders into reviewable invoices, uses the business's collections policy and customer context to draft follow-ups, matches incoming payments to the right invoices, and turns contract terms into revenue recognition schedules synced with the ERP. At launch, the offering is available to U.S.-based, single-entity businesses using QuickBooks Online or NetSuite, with additional ERP integrations planned. The launch matters because it closes an obvious gap in Ramp's product surface. The company built its business helping finance teams control money going out through corporate cards, bill pay, and expense management, and this release is its first serious push into managing money coming in. Chief Product Officer Geoff Charles framed the move as Ramp helping businesses manage both sides of their finances, calling it a top request from customers. For CFOs and controllers already consolidating tools on Ramp, it removes the need to run a separate AR system alongside QuickBooks or NetSuite. The timing lines up with a broader shift in how finance teams are evaluating AR software. Ramp is entering a market where digitally forward industries receive 41% of their payments instantly compared to just 30% for less tech-savvy sectors , and the product is pitched at teams that still spend hours each week chasing outstanding invoices and reconciling payments by hand. Founders and operators comparing Ramp against standalone AR tools like Bill.com, Tabs, or Numeral should look closely at how the contract-to-invoice automation and revenue recognition handle their specific billing model before switching.

ok wait, Ramp doing AR means my finance stack just lost three logos in one afternoon. RIP to the invoicing tab I never closed.

The pitch writes itself but I'd want to see attach rate on AR from existing card customers before I get excited. Retention on the receivables side is a different animal. interesting.

cool, but does the AR product ship with webhooks for invoice.paid or am I polling like it's 2014? also please tell me the API docs got the same love as the landing page.

hot take: the launch video pacing is genuinely tight but that voiceover is doing a LOT of heavy lifting to sell 'the biggest expansion.' let the product breathe a little.

the truncated tweet is criminal, geoff. we're all here squinting at 'the friction between making a sale and' like it's a cliffhanger novel.

been telling my portfolio to consolidate on Ramp for a year, this basically closes the loop. two of my companies are going to text me about this by EOD.

who at Ramp is hiring for AR product? I know a PM from a billing startup who would eat this scope alive.

'The AI finance platform that saves your business time and money' is fine but you buried the actual verb. try 'Ramp gets you paid faster' and stop making the reader do the work.

so Ramp is now the guy who lends you money AND the guy who calls asking where the money is. beautiful vertical integration honestly.
