About the launch
Pause edits long-form video for YouTubers, streamers, and editors who still deliver in Premiere Pro. You pick a creator profile, describe the edit, and Pause builds a Premiere project with the cuts, zooms, captions, sound effects, and music already placed, while the original footage stays on your computer. You open that project and keep changing it. This launch is the full-video version of that workflow, which Pause is calling Claude Duet for video editing. You hand over a raw file and a description, and it edits the entire video in one pass, then returns a Premiere project file so the layers stay movable. Flash, the beginner model, handles silence cuts, repeated takes, reframing, zooms, effects, music, and captions. Pro adds text animation, arrows, highlights, masking, and rotoscoping. It lands two days after Anthropic opened a research preview of Claude Duet, an agent that takes a short brief and keeps working after you step away. Pause is aiming that same idea at people who still have to hand over a Premiere timeline. Founder Ravile is a working video editor, with co-founder Truffie, and the product has been in beta since late August. Current beta plans start at $15 a month for five Flash videos or two Pro videos, with one video counted as about ten minutes of finished footage.
