About the launch
OpenHack is a security platform for startups and enterprises that ship software quickly and still face vulnerability backlogs. It reads source code, infrastructure, and business context, searches for logic flaws such as authentication bypasses and broken access control, then checks whether a finding can be exploited, ranks it by business impact, and prepares a fix. This launch adds Claude Mythos to that workflow. Enterprise customers can run Mythos scanning at no charge through November 11, 2026, with results investigated alongside the application context used for verification, prioritization, and remediation. OpenHack reproduces suspected issues before reporting them, and it uses context such as internet exposure, production status, and payment flows when it decides what to handle first. Coverage also includes pentests of live applications that chain findings, plus secret scanning and supply chain checks. Published examples from the company include a full account takeover, a chain that reached admin access on a customer's GitHub organization, including the ability to delete it, a billing bypass that unlocked paid features, and unauthorized access to S3 storage at Papermark. Teams can open fixes as pull requests for review in GitHub, and ask about findings from Slack or Linear. OpenHack is based in San Francisco and is part of Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch. Founder and CEO Ananay Arora previously worked as a software engineer at Apple and in cybersecurity at Arizona State University, and has received bug bounties from Meta, Apple, Perplexity, Y Combinator, and the Department of Homeland Security.
