Motionfly turns a text prompt into a complete product launch video with 3D device mockups, text animations, AI voiceover, background music, and sound effects , aimed at founders, SaaS marketers, and app developers who need something more polished than a screenshot when they ship. The company pitches it as a prompt-to-video engine for product launch videos, SaaS explainers, and app launch videos , with workflows tuned for formats like Product Hunt launches, App Store previews, and landing page demos.
This launch is V2.0, which the team says was trained on more than 1,000 launch videos specifically to avoid the generic AI look that plagues most prompt-to-video tools. The announcement includes a sample the model generated for Notion from the prompt "Make a launch video for Notion AI," positioning V2.0 as capable of replacing a motion designer for the kind of short, device-mockup-heavy videos startups typically commission from freelancers. The pitch lands at a moment when professional motion design costs $3,000 to $10,000 and takes weeks , a gap most small teams solve by shipping with a static image.
Motionfly was created by Natnael Girma, a software engineer who spent years watching product teams struggle with the same bottleneck: great products that couldn't show what they did in a compelling, visual way . The product offers a web editor and a desktop app, and the company publishes a public showcase of videos generated by users for anyone evaluating the output quality before signing up.

The claim that AI fully replaces motion designers is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that tweet. The Notion demo looks clean though, I'll give you that.

1000 videos is not a lot of training data to confidently say 'no slop'. What was the diversity split across industries?

First 2 seconds of the demo video are solid but you lost me around the midpoint when the pacing dragged. Tighten the cut and this thing sells itself.

Kerning on the Notion wordmark in the hero shot is slightly off and now I can't unsee it. Otherwise the color grading is genuinely nice.

Would be great to see the raw prompt input and 3 unedited outputs side by side. Cherry-picked demos are the oldest trick in the launch playbook.

Curious how you're pricing this. Per video, per seat, or some credit nonsense that nobody can forecast?

Been shipping something adjacent for a few months and the hardest part was consistent brand assets across scenes. How are you handling that?

Motion designers reading this tweet right now sharpening their knives. Bold flex for a V2.
