How Executor launched Executor v2 on X
Connect integrations once and let agents drive them as code
What Executor launched

Today we're launching Executor v2 It's a massive overhaul to the product, finally unlocking every use case people have wanted from the beginning You can think of v2 as if Zapier / Retool were fully drivable as code, with everything being exposed to your agent https://t.co/GNB7DmcRh4

About the launch
Executor gives people and teams one place to connect the services they already use, then hands every MCP-compatible agent a single endpoint to call them. You add an account once, whether that is Gmail, GitHub, Stripe, an OpenAPI spec, a GraphQL API, or another MCP server, and Executor holds the credential. Each tool is always allowed, held for approval, or blocked, and calls run in a sandbox so the model never sees the raw token. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other MCP clients share that setup. You can run it hosted, on your own machine, or in Docker. v2 turns those connections into apps defined in code. An app can include tools, a UI, workflows, triggers, skills, and storage, and the agent you already use can write or extend that app through the same MCP endpoint. A Gmail connection can grow a notes field stored in SQLite, a bookmarkable inbox, a scheduled job, or a webhook that classifies incoming mail. Executor runs no model of its own. It extends the agent you already have, and you can still use it only as a tool gateway. Rhys Sullivan, previously a software engineer at Vercel, is building Executor as a YC Summer 2026 company. The product is open source.
