Lumi is an adoption agent from Userlens that reads how each user actually behaves inside a B2B software product and sends tailored nudges to move them toward a specific goal, whether that is prompting better questions to an AI feature, activating a seat, or picking up a new release. It is aimed at product and customer success teams who are tired of generic onboarding flows, drip campaigns, and feature blasts that most users ignore, and it treats every account with the attention a top CSM would normally reserve for the top five strategic accounts.
Under the hood, a customer sets an adoption goal, Lumi ingests raw product usage data to build a behavior profile for every user, then designs the outreach procedure itself, including when to reach out and what to say based on the exact usage pattern. It then reports back on which conversations translated into more feature use and better in-product behavior, which fits Userlens's broader positioning around AI agents for customer success teams in B2B SaaS and its stated approach of comparing each account's adoption against peers so teams know whether a trend is good or bad.
Userlens was founded in 2025 by Ankur Dahama and Hai Ta and is based in San Francisco as part of Y Combinator's P26 batch, with previous products the founders shipped reaching tens of thousands of professional users. The Lumi launch matters now because renewals and expansion in enterprise SaaS increasingly hinge on measurable feature adoption, and Userlens is betting that per-user behavioral outreach handled by an agent will land better than the batch messaging most teams still rely on.

An agent that nudges users toward the next action is one wrong prompt away from becoming the paperclip clown of PLG. What guardrails stop Lumi from harassing power users into churning?

The launch video hook took like 11 seconds to get to what Lumi actually does. Cut the intro card next time and lead with the product doing the thing.

Onboarding question from someone who just clicked around: how does Lumi know what my product's 'next best action' even is on day one, before it has data? Cold start feels handwaved on the site.

Cool, but where are the docs? Show me the webhook payload when Lumi decides to nudge a user, and tell me your rate limits before I wire it into anything production.

Before any of my buyers touch this: SOC2 status, SSO on which plan, and where is user behavior data stored? The site is very pretty and very quiet about all three.

Named it Lumi, gave it a soft gradient, put it on a dark hero. You and every other AI agent launched this quarter went to the same Figma template party.

The tweet copy says 'reads how every user actually uses your product' which is doing a lot of work in one sentence. Would love a 30 second clip of Lumi caught in the act of reading and nudging, not just marketing shots.
