Unify is an outbound sales platform for account executives and SDRs that pulls prospecting, research, and sequencing into one chat-based workflow, backed by more than 40 data sources, 1.1 billion contacts, and 65 million companies . This launch extends that workflow directly into Claude, Codex, and Cursor through official Unify GTM agent plugins for cursor, codex and claude , so reps can build target lists, enrich records, and run personalized campaigns from the AI tools they already keep open all day. The company was co-founded by Austin Hughes and Connor Heggie, who crossed paths as undergrads at Rice University . Hughes is CEO, and previously led the growth team at Ramp, where he scaled the org from 1 to 25+ and pioneered a product-led, experiment-driven GTM approach . Unify has grown into a platform used by teams at Perplexity, Pylon, Justworks, Campfire, and Spellbook, and the product now positions itself as an environment for building and running sales agents rather than a traditional sequencing tool. The timing matters because GTM software is converging with the broader agent ecosystem that engineering teams have already standardized on. By shipping first-party plugins for the three most used coding and agent surfaces, Unify lets AEs, SDRs, and the GTM engineers supporting them invoke its data, intent signals, and sequencing from inside existing agent sessions, which fits the stated goal of meeting sellers wherever they actually work. For founders and operators evaluating AI sales stacks, it is a concrete signal that outbound tooling is moving toward composable surfaces instead of standalone dashboards.

ASMR for sales ops is a choice and somehow it worked on me. I watched the whole thing with headphones in like a weirdo.

The slow keyboard click into the Claude pane is doing more work than most Series B explainer videos. Whoever edited this understood the assignment.

the thumbnail is 90% hareytwan's face and 10% product and honestly that's the correct ratio. the kerning on the Unify wordmark at 0:14 though, oof.

ok wait, Unify inside Cursor means my SDR is going to be prospecting from the same window I'm shipping bugs in. love it, slightly cursed.

hot take: 'works where sellers work' is the only moat left in sales tech. the standalone dashboard era is over and nobody wants to admit it.

hareytwan with the marketing budget was a crime against the P&L and I'm here for it. more weird launches please.

A tool is only loved when it meets you where you already are. This is a quiet, correct move.

Genuine question before I get excited: is this an MCP server you host, or local shim? Latency on tool calls inside Cursor gets ugly fast if it's the former.

interesting. would want to see whether seats expand per account once reps actually use it in Codex, or whether it just becomes a cute demo everyone forgets by Q2.

DevRel brain: are the agent tools documented anywhere public, or do I have to be a customer to see the schema? asking because the Cursor crowd will absolutely try to extend this.

every AI sales demo looks great until you ask it to enrich an account that isn't in Clearbit's top 10k. would pay to see this run on a long tail list live.

Before procurement will even look at this: SSO on which tier, SOC2 Type II available, and is there a DPA for the agent calls going through Anthropic? Love the vibe, need the paperwork.
