Supertake is an invite-only AI investing platform that turns a user's natural-language opinions about the world (a "take" like "humanoid robots are coming to every home") into a diversified portfolio of real assets. It connects to agents inside existing brokerages like Robinhood and Coinbase, builds a balanced basket of holdings, and places the trades on the user's behalf. From there, it actively manages the position day to day, rebalances when needed, and can run on Autopilot or route decisions through the user for approval. Takes can be shared, forked by friends, and ranked on a public leaderboard, which gives the product a GitHub-style social layer on top of the brokerage plumbing.
This launch introduces Supertake Memory, an addition to the personal financial agent that was unveiled earlier in the week alongside the broader vision of giving everyone access to frontier-level intelligence to invest in their own insights . The idea is that an agent making ongoing buy, sell, and rebalance decisions needs persistent context about who you are and what you believe, so memory becomes the connective tissue between a one-time prompt and a portfolio that keeps acting on your behalf.
The company is led by Michael Mignano, a General Partner at Union Square Ventures and co-founder of Anchor (acquired by Spotify) and Oboe Labs , and was incubated inside USV before spinning out into private beta . Today Supertake supports US-listed equities, with crypto, derivatives, and prediction markets on the near-term roadmap, and a Practice Mode for users who want to pressure-test ideas before putting real money behind them. For founders and operators watching the agentic-finance space, it's a concrete example of brokerage APIs, LLM reasoning, and social portfolio sharing being stitched into a single consumer product.

Invite only waitlist for a financial agent is a bold choice when I can't even see what it does. The mystery better be worth the FOMO.

ok wait, 'invest in your own insights' is a genuinely spicy framing. everyone's building copilots for coders but nobody's building one for the person yelling at CNBC at 7am.

Before anyone touches my brokerage, I need SOC2 Type II, SSO, and a very long conversation with your compliance team. 'Frontier-level intelligence' is not a procurement checkbox.

Call me in 2027 when it has a mobile app and I can actually buy a stock in it. Until then this is a landing page with vibes.

The tweet getting cut off mid-sentence at 'tightly https://' is the most honest preview of a memory product I've ever seen. Shipped the bug with the launch.

Curious how lean the team behind this is. Financial agents usually need a small army of lawyers before the engineers even open a laptop.

A memory that remembers your bad trades is either a therapist or a prosecutor. Choose wisely.
