Sim is an open-source AI workspace where companies build, deploy, and manage agents across IT, HR, marketing, and go-to-market functions. Today's launch, Sim Search, is an agentic search module that lets a team securely connect their credentials and integrations so that agents can operate on scoped projects with the same context a human employee would have. The pitch in the launch video is straightforward. Instead of every new agent starting from zero, Sim Search assembles an agentic knowledge graph over your connected data, then uses it to answer questions, pick up unfinished work, and execute tasks end to end (the demo walks through an agent finding a leftover ticket to issue a Brex card for a new hire, then applying internal spend policy to complete the setup). The launch matters because credential sprawl and missing context are two of the practical bottlenecks slowing agent adoption inside larger organizations. Sim ships with over a thousand integrations built in-house for this workflow, and the broader platform is an open-source AI workspace where teams build, deploy, and manage AI agents for their organization under shared identity, policy, and spend controls. That governance layer, combined with self-hosting and per-agent permissions, is what pushes Sim toward buyers who need auditability alongside autonomy. Sim is built by co-founders Emir Karabeg and Waleed Latif , and went through YC's X25 batch earlier this year . The company says its platform is already in use at customers including Rivian, Volkswagen, and EXP Realty, which gives Sim Search an immediate deployment surface among teams already running agents in production.

Agentic knowledge graph is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence. What actually gets stored, the embeddings or the traversal paths?

Adaptive learning is fun buzz but I want to see the ablation. Is it retrieval reranking on usage signals or actual graph edge weighting?

The tweet buries the lede. 'Uses your credentials' is the scariest and most interesting phrase in the whole post and it's just casually sitting there.

Ship a Slack integration next and I will personally hand-deliver you my SOC2 auditor. Search without Slack context is search with one eye closed.

Was the demo live or pre-baked? The latency in that clip looked suspiciously clean for anything touching Gmail plus Notion at once.

Reminds me of what the Fyxer team was doing early on but wider surface area. Curious how you're handling permission scoping across sources.

The agentic search TAM is smaller than everyone thinks. Most knowledge workers do not want a graph, they want the one answer their boss asked for.

Every SaaS launched after this week will feel dated the moment agents can just drive the UI themselves. Sim is squinting in the right direction.

Where are the docs for the search endpoint? Give me rate limits, webhook events for graph updates, and I will build on it tonight.

First-run experience question: what happens in the 90 seconds after I connect three tools? If I stare at an empty state while it 'learns' I bounce.

The thumbnail is 60% empty space and the logo is fighting the headline. The product deserves a frame that isn't apologizing for itself.

Interesting. What does week-4 retention look like on the agents customers actually build versus the templates you seed them with?
