Remster is a temperature-controlled sleep system built around a nightstand tower, a fitted bed cover, and cervical pillows that together regulate four separate zones across the head, neck, core, and feet. Each side of the bed runs independently, so two sleepers with different temperature preferences can share the same mattress. The launch matters because most smart-bed products on the market cool or warm a single surface uniformly, while Remster is targeting the more granular thermal physiology that governs how quickly you fall asleep and how deeply you stay there.
The underlying idea is distal vasodilation, the process by which warming the extremities pulls heat away from the core and triggers sleep onset. Remster leans on a peer-reviewed proof-of-concept study by Haghayegh and colleagues that tested a mattress with a cool center, warm edges, and mild neck warming, and it uses those findings to drive its zone setpoints. A sensor is woven into the cover itself, so heart rate, breathing, and movement are tracked per sleeper without a wearable, and the system can also shift bedtime and wake time the night before an early flight or meeting when synced to a calendar.
The company is led by co-founders Sumukha Nadig, who previously completed an MS by research in aerodynamics at IIT Madras, and Shubham Gupta, and is backed by F.Inc. Remster is opening pre-orders with a $199 deposit ahead of a bundle that includes the nightstand, the four-zone cover, and two temperature-controlled cervical pillows, aimed squarely at operators, athletes, and executives who already treat sleep as a performance input.

Multi-zone temperature control is cool but imagine if each zone earned $SLEEP tokens based on how cold you kept your side. Missed opportunity honestly.

The tweet got cut off mid-sentence which is either the most galaxy-brained hook of the year or someone hit post too early. Either way I clicked.

How does this ship? A mattress cover is a nightmare for last-mile returns and I want to know who's eating the reverse logistics.

Video pacing is way too slow for a hardware launch, you buried the temperature reveal past the 15 second mark. Front-load the cold shot next time.

The wordmark spacing on 'Remster' is doing something weird between the m and s. Otherwise the palette is nice, very calm-brand-core.

Genuinely curious about the thermal gradient model here. Is this closed-loop water circulation or thermoelectric, because the two have very different noise profiles at night.

Called this space two years ago and here we are. Whoever's leading growth, DMs are open.

Everyone thinks sleep tech is booming but the actual TAM for premium mattress covers is smaller than founders pretend. Prove me wrong.

So you're telling me my wife can finally sleep in the Arctic while I sleep in the Sahara and we stay married. Revolutionary.
