Neko Health is a preventive health clinic offering a one hour full body scan aimed at people who want early detection of cardiovascular, skin, metabolic, and blood related conditions. The Neko Health Scan takes around 60 minutes and combines millions of data points across the body, including the heart, blood, skin, and metabolic health. The experience is non-invasive and radiation-free, with results available during your visit. The company was founded by Daniel Ek (Spotify) and Hjalmar Nilsonne , and this launch marks its arrival in the United States. The New York opening matters because Neko has so far operated only in Sweden and the UK, and demand has clearly outpaced supply. A clinic at 300 Lafayette Street in SoHo opened Thursday as Neko Health's first U.S. location , with the $499 assessment relying on blood biomarker analysis, ECG, and body-composition measurements to collect data in about 60 minutes, all without radiation or an MRI machine . A visit ends with a clinician walking members through the findings the same day, positioning the product as an annual longevity checkup rather than a diagnostic referral. For founders, investors, and operators, the launch is notable as a case study in bringing a vertically integrated hardware, software, and clinical services stack across the Atlantic. Neko Health, which has locations in the U.K. and Sweden, is preparing for its first U.S. location in New York. The company says more than 100,000 people have already had scans and more than 350,000 people have either registered for the waitlist , giving the SoHo opening a built in pipeline of demand and a real test of whether consumer preventive care can scale in the American market.

NYC launch makes sense but curious how you price this for a market that already thinks a $40 copay is highway robbery. Retention past year one is the whole ballgame here.

That launch video had zero fluff and I respect it. No stock drone shots of Manhattan, just the scanner doing its thing.

ok wait, they actually shipped hardware AND a clinic AND opened in a new country. meanwhile I'm still picking a font for my landing page.

The tweet copy is two emojis and a link. Confidence tier: absolutely feral, and honestly it works when the product speaks for itself.

Please tell me the onboarding isn't 14 intake forms on a clipboard. The whole promise falls apart if the first tap is a PDF.

Every longevity startup I've seen this year is a Notion template with a waitlist. This one has a physical room you walk into, which is a completely different sport.

You get scanned once a year and told you're fine. The wisdom is in the boring measurement, not the dramatic diagnosis.
