About the launch
Monid's new people search lets an agent pull candidates from Apollo, Clay, People Data Labs, Hunter, ContactOut, and Ploid, then score the list with Jev before paying to reveal anyone. Jev, from TypeSafe AI, reads each row and returns a typed score with a confidence number, so the agent can set a cutoff and enrich only the leads that clear it. For teams running outbound through agents, that split matters now, because a candidate list is often free and the paid step is the contact reveal that used to require a separate subscription on each vendor. Apollo's people search on Monid is $0.00 and returns a first name, a masked last name, a title, and an id. Opening a work email through Apollo match is $0.05, Hunter's verifier is $0.012, Clay's work-email call is $0.071, and People Data Labs person enrich is $0.30. The chain Monid documents tries the cheapest source first, stops at the first hit, and bills $0.00 on many misses. Jev sits in front of that spend. Their example finds 200 demand-generation managers at US SaaS companies with 11 to 200 staff, scores each one on fit, size, a reason to call, and freshness, and reveals contacts only above 75. The launch prices the Jev pass at $0.0024 per lead, with no subscription and no markup. Agents connect with one skill line, a remote MCP server, the CLI, or the API, and a new account starts with $1.00. Shengkun Ye announced it from San Francisco, where he is building Monid with Feiyou Guo, Jasper Li, and Octo Dang.
