Ad Mutator is a new tool from Maxfusion AI that takes a single winning video ad and generates variations by swapping out the actor, location, outfit, product placement, and other scene elements, so performance marketers can turn one proven creative into a testing pipeline instead of starting from scratch each time. It ships inside Maxfusion MCP, meaning agents like Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok can call it directly as part of a broader ad workflow rather than requiring a marketer to open a separate editor.
The launch fits Maxfusion's broader positioning as a platform that makes it easier to scale UGC ads for DTC brands, ecommerce teams, and agencies. Where the company's earlier products focused on generating videos from a script using AI-generated actors that speak the script, with product images added for demonstrations , Ad Mutator flips the workflow toward iteration: find a creative that already converts, then mass-produce variants against it. That matters right now because paid social algorithms reward creative volume, and most brands still bottleneck on production rather than on media budget.
Maxfusion is founded by Ori and Stav Zilbershtein together with technical co-founder Vlad Dubchak , with roots in Israel and operations in Prague . Positioning the product as the creative layer for AI agents is a bet that the next wave of ad ops will be run by autonomous bots pulling from tools over MCP, and Ad Mutator is the first Maxfusion primitive built explicitly for that consumer.

Ad Mutator is such a good name that I'm mad I didn't think of it first. How many people on the team behind this? Feels like a 4-person job at most.

The launch video buries the actual mutation demo at like 14 seconds in. Cold open with the swap and I'd have watched it twice.

First three seconds of that video need a hook, not a logo. You're leaving retention on the table before anyone sees the actual mutation.

Cool product but the real alpha is tokenizing winning creatives so the top ad earns royalties every time it mutates. Someone build this.

Who's hiring on the growth side over there? I've got a performance marketer who has run mutation tests manually for 3 years and would lose her mind over this.

The tweet copy slaps. 'Find winners. Mutate them. Scale.' is the entire pitch deck in six words.

Neat, now do voiceover mutation and lip sync per market. Otherwise you're stuck exporting for one language and rebuilding the rest by hand.

Been watching this space for a minute and Maxfusion is the first team that framed it as mutation instead of variation. That reframe alone is worth the round.

Curious what the swap-to-approval ratio looks like on real customer creatives. Mutation is easy, mutation that a brand team will actually ship is the hard part.

That demo is very clearly pre-rendered. Show me a live mutation with a cold cache or I'm assuming there's a human in the loop somewhere.

No pricing on the site. If this is per-render I'll churn by Tuesday, if it's seat-based I'll expense it before lunch.
