Karumi is a demo agent for SaaS companies that replaces static, text-only chat with a live, multimedia experience. Instead of typing answers, the agent shows videos, screenshots, and actual product flows to prospects visiting a landing page or exploring inside an app. The agent learns from any software product, joins video calls with prospects, and navigates the product in a real browser while talking, listening, and taking actions , which is what the launch tweet points to when it calls text-only agents outdated. The launch matters because inbound demand rarely lines up with sales rep availability. Karumi lets SaaS companies deliver personalized product demos around the clock, and the multimedia layer announced in this launch is aimed at a specific pain: keeping visual walkthroughs current without a team re-recording videos every time the product ships changes. The pitch to founders and revenue leaders is faster time to the "aha moment" for high-intent leads and coverage for smaller segments that human reps usually skip. Karumi is built by Toni Lopez and Pablo Omeñaca, who previously worked together at StackAI (YC W23) , with Toni as founding engineer and Pablo as COO and founding engineer, before starting Karumi as part of Y Combinator's Fall 2025 batch. They have said they hit this problem firsthand watching their prior GTM team get pulled into repetitive demos, which is the wedge this launch is targeting.

ok wait, so the agent actually pulls the current product flow and not some stale screenshot from Q2? if that autosync works this is genuinely useful.

the launch video cuts every 0.8 seconds and I still have no idea what the agent looks like in a real chat window. show me one boring uncut interaction please.

tagline could hit harder: 'your docs, but they move.' free of charge, venmo optional.

every multimedia agent demo I've seen is a pre-recorded flow stitched to a fake LLM response. what happens when the user asks something off the golden path?

the tweet copy opening with 'text-only agents are dead' is doing a lot of work, respect. also curious what the fallback is when the video generation model just refuses.

how many people built this? because if it's under four I'm going to be insufferable about it in my group chat tonight.

been waiting for someone to kill text-only support bots. the 'always up to date' part is the whole moat, everything else is table stakes.

one more thing for the roadmap: let the agent record a personalized loom on the fly with the user's own data masked. you can thank me in the changelog.

this is probably the last support product built where a human still writes the reply. next cohort is agents replying to agents and we all just watch.
