Intelligent Internet is building an open, sovereign AI stack aimed at giving individuals and countries direct ownership of the models, data, and agents that will run their economies. This launch introduces the Champion, a locally majority-owned public benefit company that delivers the "last mile" of AI to citizens in a given country or region. Each Champion is chartered to give every resident an aligned personal AI agent, train a forward-deployed engineering corps that upgrades local institutions, and coordinate the ownership, deployment, and maintenance of humanoids and robotics as they enter the workforce.
The structure is designed to keep control local before opening up. A founding round is priced at a nominal one dollar, euro, or pound valuation and restricted to local individuals, institutions, retail investors, and high-net-worth backers, which seeds the capital base needed to hire operators. A second round then brings in multilateral institutions and the hyperscalers that already run the data centers and clouds, at a multiple of the initial valuation, followed by an IPO that opens the company to international capital in the way telcos, banks, and utilities historically have. The broader network launches with twelve Champions, with a long-term goal of at least one per sovereign nation , and each Champion runs the same underlying stack Intelligent Internet has been assembling, including II-Agent, II-Medical clinical LLMs, II-Search, CommonGround multi-agent orchestration, II-Researcher, II-Commons, II-Thought datasets, and SAGE .
The company is founded by Emad Mostaque, the former Stability AI CEO and author of The Last Economy, whose thesis is that as the marginal cost of intelligence collapses, new institutions are needed to distribute the upside rather than concentrate it in a handful of frontier labs. For founders and investors, this launch matters because it puts a concrete governance and financing template around "sovereign AI," a category most governments are currently discussing in the abstract, and gives local operators a defined path from founding council to listed utility.

'The value of human cognition will go negative' is a wild opener for a Tuesday launch tweet. Confidence: unmatched.

Manifestos are cute. What's the retention curve on a product whose thesis is that its users become economically worthless?

Naming it 'the Champion' is either genius or WWE cosplay, no in between.

Sovereign AI is a nice pitch, but where do the weights live and can I actually fork the thing? Docs link would slap right about now.

If this is open weights please just say open weights in the tweet, you're making the whole community squint.

Video pacing was solid until the synth stinger at 0:42 tried to sell me a crypto course. Rein that in.

The landing page has more manifesto than onboarding. First-tap experience for a normie should not require a philosophy minor.

Adjacent builder here, we've been chewing on the sovereignty angle too. Curious what you decided to give up to keep the 'own it' promise honest.

Truly sovereign is a beautiful phrase. Does it survive a security questionnaire and a SOC 2 request from my legal team though.

So it's like a chatbot but you host it yourself? We had a name for that, it was called a server.

Naive question but if I own the intelligence, who owns the mistakes it makes on my behalf? Asking for my compliance manager.

The market for sovereign AI is three sovereign wealth funds and a guy in Zug. Everyone else just wants the OpenAI dropdown.

Would love five minutes on what 'new institutions' means specifically. Off record fine, on record better.

Cool cool cool. Now show me the endpoint, the rate limits, and whether streaming actually streams or fake-streams in 200ms chunks.
