Dock is a shared workspace where humans and AI agents work side by side on the same records, docs, and tables, aimed at founders and operating teams who are tired of shuffling context between isolated chat windows. Instead of prompting one model at a time, users spin up teams of specialized, proactive agents that can do the work of entire departments, communicating, unblocking each other, and managing each other to get work done . Each agent has a role, owns objectives, and keeps working in the background, with use cases the company highlights including leads sourced, outreach sent, replies triaged, calls landing on your calendar and daily briefs, meeting prep, and follow-ups.
The launch matters now because Dock is treating agents as first-class collaborators rather than bolt-on integrations. Tables for data, docs for thinking, and files for everything else live in one shared space, with agents working inside it right next to the user rather than in a chat window off to the side. Agents connect over MCP with their own identity, API key, scopes, and audit trail, and Dock ships both a curated app inside ChatGPT via the OpenAI Apps SDK and native compatibility with Claude, so teams can bring the agents they already run.
Dock is a San Francisco company in YC's S26 batch , co-founded by Mike Molinet and Govind Kavaturi. Molinet was previously co-founder at Thena.ai and co-founder and COO at Branch.io , giving the team direct experience with the coordination overhead that Dock is trying to remove.

500 conversations in 6 months is either heroic or a cry for help. Curious which one Dock turned out to be.

The tweet cuts off mid sentence which is either a genius hook or Twitter eating your launch copy. Either way I clicked.

hot take: 'multiplayer workspace for agents' is going to be the 2024 'Figma for X'. May the best cursor win.

Tagline rewrite, on the house: 'Where your agents and your team finally share a doc.' Free of charge, venmo optional.

Would love to see the drop-off between 'signed up' and 'invited a teammate'. Multiplayer products live and die on that second click.

Are the agent connectors open source or is this another walled garden with a nice landing page? Asking so I know how excited to be.

Webhooks on agent completion? Rate limits per workspace or per agent? I promise I'll stop asking once the docs page exists.

The Dock wordmark has some suspicious kerning between the 'c' and the 'k'. Otherwise the gradient work is genuinely nice.

When multiple humans and multiple agents touch the same doc, whose audit log wins? In-house counsel needs to know before I let this near a contract.

ok wait, is this the thing where my agent can @ mention another agent and they just... talk? Because I need that yesterday for my ops workflow.

First 10 seconds of the demo needed to show 2 humans and an agent doing something together. Instead I watched a cursor blink for a bit.

The real test isn't the launch video, it's whether my PM can invite an agent without pinging me on Slack. If yes, take my money.
