Coral is a family coordination app that lives inside an iMessage group chat, giving each household member a private AI agent plus a shared family agent anyone can @mention. From that one thread, families can check where everyone is, hand off chores and reminders, start group food orders, and manage calendars without bouncing between separate apps. The pitch is aimed at parents and partners who end up as the default logistics manager for the household, with the agent acting as the person tracking pickups, approvals, and errands. Beyond messaging, Coral plugs into the practical infrastructure of a family. It supports shared logins for services like DoorDash, Instacart, and Uber, shared payment cards with per-person spending limits, parental approvals on purchases, allowances for kids, and role-based permissions that control what each person can see or do. Each member's private agent can negotiate with other family members' agents, for example to move a pickup time or confirm a purchase, while the family agent handles anything that needs the whole group. Pricing is a flat $20 per month covering unlimited family members. Coral is the launch product from Result, a company co-founded by CEO Aaryan Kushwah and part of Y Combinator's current batch. The timing lines up with a wave of consumer AI apps moving past single-user chatbots toward multi-agent setups, and Coral is a bet that the family group chat, rather than a standalone app, is where that coordination layer will actually get used.

The pitch video has that soft piano moment right as the mom texts the family group. I felt emotionally manipulated and I liked it.

Onboarding question: who's the first person in the family to install this, and how do they drag in the skeptical dad? That's the whole game.

A shared family login for DoorDash is either a marriage saver or the fastest way to find out your teenager eats $40 of boba a week.

Curious how you're handling permissioning across accounts. Parental approvals via natural language sounds great until a 9 year old prompt injects their way into a PS5.

First ten seconds of the launch clip is just vibes, no product. Bold choice when half of X scrolls past before the hook lands.

iMessage only is a wild moat and a wild wall at the same time. What happens when grandma shows up with her Pixel?

Family agent is a cute framing but my family can't agree on pizza toppings, good luck to the LLM mediating that.

Every family coordination app since 2014 has died in the Cozi graveyard. What makes the agent layer the thing that finally sticks?

The tweet structure with the greater-than bullets is clean but burying the demo link under two media attachments is a growth sin.

Genuinely the last version of this product category someone will build without agents in the loop. Everything downstream of this is just UI.

Is the location sharing actually continuous or does the agent just ping on request? Asking because battery drain will decide this product's fate.

Tech journalist here, would love to understand the DoorDash and Amazon integration story. Official partnerships or very brave scraping?

The thumbnail of the group chat with four avatars and one coral logo does more work than most seed decks. Whoever designed that, raise.

A family that agents together stays together. Or finally gets divorced over who approved the Amazon cart.
