Concourse builds AI agents for corporate finance teams, handling the reporting, analysis, and data workflows that usually pull analysts across ERPs, spreadsheets, and BI tools. This launch pushes those agents out of a standalone app and into Slack, Teams, and email , the surfaces where finance leaders already spend their day. Users can schedule any agent to a channel and get charts, tables, and commentary posted as native messages, then reply in-thread to ask follow-ups without opening another tab.
The timing follows Concourse's move from stealth pilots to broader distribution. Co-founder and CEO Matthieu Hafemeister previously worked at Andreessen Horowitz and led growth at Jeeves , and co-founder Ted Michaels was formerly head of finance at Jeeves . The company came out of Y Combinator, is based in New York, and was founded in 2023 , with agents that let finance teams query information in natural language against connected systems.
For directory readers, the relevance is distribution strategy as much as product. Rather than asking CFOs and FP&A teams to adopt yet another dashboard, Concourse is betting that agent output belongs inside the collaboration tools where decisions actually get made, with the underlying platform handling scheduling, data access, and thread-level context. The new channel integrations are live for existing customers at launch.

Every finance team I know still lives in six tabs and a Slack DM asking where the source file is. If Concourse actually kills the tab tax, half of FP&A will weep with joy.

Any story on integrations and docs? An execution layer is only as good as the systems it can reach, and NetSuite is famously not a friendly neighbor.

The cut from 'log in, filter, export' to the product reveal is genuinely tight editing. Whoever paced that intro understood the assignment.

ok wait the video actually shows the product doing work instead of a founder monologue over stock b-roll. rare W for launch day.

Curious what the pricing looks like. Seat-based feels wrong for an agent, but consumption on finance workflows might make CFOs sweat during close week.

hot take: the enterprise finance stack has been Stockholm-syndroming users for a decade. someone finally said the quiet part out loud.

Finance teams love clicking buttons because it's how they audit themselves. An agent that just returns 'the answer' is a compliance nightmare waiting to happen.

Been watching this space and Concourse has one of the more grounded pitches I've seen. The framing around decisions instead of dashboards is exactly where finance AI needs to land.

The tweet copy walks right up to naming the incumbents without naming them. Classy restraint or missed opportunity, jury's out.

Great narrative, but what does retention look like after month three? Agent demos convert. Finance teams staying on an agent through a full audit cycle is the actual test.

Watching this drop while I'm still 3 weeks from my own launch is painful in a motivating way. The 'era is ending' hook is going to get stolen a thousand times this week.
