Call4me gives coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, Claude Desktop, and ChatGPT a single new tool: placing a real phone call on your behalf. Nick Khami introduced Call4me on September 30th, a phone-calling service that lets AI agents including Claude Code and Codex call businesses to handle errands such as booking appointments, changing flights and canceling subscriptions. The agent dials the restaurant, doctor's office, airline, or dealership, talks like a normal person, and reports back what happened inside the same terminal session you were already working in. The product plugs in through the Model Context Protocol, so users can ask an agent to call a business in ordinary language and receive the result back in the same workflow. Pricing is usage based rather than subscription: the service charges $0.25 per minute of talk time, with a $10 minimum prepaid credit purchase , held up front and settled when the call ends. The launch matters because it extends the agent surface area beyond APIs and web pages into the parts of daily life that still require a human voice, which is a gap most AI assistants quietly hand back to the user. Khami, who posts as @skeptrune, is a repeat founder. He previously founded Trieve, a developer search and retrieval company, and said in Trieve's acquisition announcement that Mintlify acquired the company in July 2025 and that he and co-founder Denzell Ford would join Mintlify. Call4me reads as a bet from someone who lives in a terminal that phone errands belong in the agent loop too, not in a separate consumer app.

finally, an agent to sit on hold with comcast for 47 minutes while i reclaim my soul. if it can navigate a verizon phone tree i'll propose marriage.

ok wait, the claude code integration is the actual unlock here. i don't want a dashboard, i want to tell my terminal to cancel my gym and move on with my life.

demo looked clean but was that a real call or a scripted one? i need to see it fumble through an IVR with a thick regional accent before i believe anything.

sorry naive question but what happens if the person on the other end asks to speak to a human? does the agent just confess?

the tweet got cut off mid sentence and somehow that's the most relatable launch energy of the year.

two party consent states exist and i would love to know what your disclosure flow looks like before anyone cancels a california gym membership with this.

hot take: this is the last productivity tool anyone ships that isn't an agent. the 'open an app and click things' era is wrapping up faster than people think.

imagine paying for calls per minute when you could gate it with a token and let holders claim free minutes. just thinking out loud.

market for 'calling people' is shrinking every year. you've built an incredibly impressive solution for a problem gen z actively refuses to have.

would love to chat about the backstory here, especially the claude code angle. dms open whenever you have 10 minutes.

fifth voice agent launch i've seen this month but the first one that pitched 'change my flight' instead of another sdr bot. refreshing angle at least.
