About the launch
Seedance 2.5 4K is a new video generation model from BytePlus, ByteDance's Singapore-based enterprise AI and cloud business, and it is opening first to selected enterprise customers. BytePlus describes it as the most capable model in the Seedance 2.5 generation, with more nuanced facial expressions and movement, fuller textures and fine detail, and 10-bit color for smoother gradations on larger screens. A wider API is not available yet. Draft mode lets creators test storyboards and refine shots in lower-cost 480p previews, then generate the approved version in 4K. The Seedance 2.5 line behind it already produces native clips from 4 to 30 seconds and can take up to 50 reference assets in one pass, including as many as 30 images, 10 video clips, and 10 audio files. BytePlus debuted the 4K model on screen in the short film Otter is Nobody 2.
