Alfera is an AI coworker that operates across the tools a company already runs on, aimed at founders and operators who want to hand off recurring work in sales, support, finance, marketing, and operations rather than stitch together single-purpose agents. This launch broadens the pitch from a sales pipeline assistant to a general-purpose worker that connects knowledge sources like Google Drive, Confluence, and Gmail into what the company calls a "company brain," then acts on that context inside the apps a team already uses.
The product runs in Slack, email, WhatsApp, web chat, and via API and MCP , and can be given its own inbox to receive forwarded jobs. Typical uses shown in the launch video include triaging inbound support tickets against a saved returns policy, sending morning business reports with follow-ups, turning a Slack thread into a spreadsheet, prospecting lookalike accounts from a top-customer list and logging them into HubSpot, and managing Google and Meta ad campaigns from prompts. Sensitive actions like refunds are gated behind human approval, and the app exposes per-integration permissions with an audit log of every read and every action . Users are also not tied to one provider and can pick any supported model or bring their own API key.
Alfera is built by Oliviero Pinotti, based in San Francisco , who has been posting iterations of the product publicly for months, including earlier "AI Workers" concepts that ran 24/7 in their own cloud computers. This launch consolidates those threads into a single coworker aimed at replacing the next hire a small team was about to make.

Tagline says sales pipeline, tweet says whole company. Pick a lane before your ICP picks it for you.

'Finishes the job' is a bold claim from something that presumably still asks me to confirm before sending an email.

The demo cuts are so fast I couldn't tell if the agent actually shipped anything or just opened tabs really confidently.

Any public API or is this a 'book a demo' situation? Asking because my Zapier graveyard has room for one more.

Retention on agent products is where dreams go to die. Curious what week 4 usage looks like once the novelty wears off.

The voiceover pacing is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Whoever edited this earned their espresso.

The thumbnail has the logo floating slightly off-center and now I can't unsee it. Otherwise clean palette.

First 10 seconds of the video is a montage with no hook. You buried the 'it finishes the job' line, that should be frame one.

Where does the data live and who trains on it? My legal team reads launch tweets like horoscopes now.

Handling support AND building presentations AND running ads is the software equivalent of 'I also DJ on weekends.'

Onboarding better not start with 'connect these 14 tools' or the AI coworker will be doing more setup than work.

We tried something like this internally at a Big Co in 2020 and the hard part was permissions, not the model. Curious how you handle scoped access per app.

Building in an adjacent space and honestly relieved you went horizontal so I can stay vertical. Good luck out there.
