Delos is launching AI Workers, autonomous digital employees that companies can onboard in minutes and assign to real jobs inside their organization. Each "worker" gets a name, a role, an email address, a phone number, a cloud computer, and long-term memory, and can plan and complete missions without constant human supervision , which is what lets teams reach them on any channel and hand off work the way they would to a human colleague. The pitch is aimed at operations, sales, and back-office leaders who want to fill roles with software that behaves like staff rather than like a chatbot bolted onto a workflow.
The launch is timed to a fresh Series A. French startup Delos has raised €10 million ($11.5 million) in a Series A round led by Bpifrance, C4 Ventures, and Founders Future , and the round follows a €2.5 million seed led by 20VC in April 2025. Delos says recurring revenue doubled from €2.5 million to €5 million in a single quarter, with a product just four months old . It counts 300 customers, from SMEs to large accounts including TotalEnergies, Meilleurtaux, and Icade, and has deployed 2,000 virtual workers , with proceeds earmarked for a US expansion alongside continued growth in France.
The company was founded in Paris in 2023 by brothers Pierre and Thibaut de la Grand'rive , with Pierre serving as CEO. Founded three years ago, Delos began with an office software platform before pivoting to virtual colleagues , and the roadmap now points toward more specialized profiles. Delos plans to add specialisations to its workers, including data analysts and management controllers, and eventually full teams of AI employees , a direction that reframes hiring as configuring a workforce rather than posting a job.

The reveal tweet is doing a lot of heavy lifting with those emojis. Would have killed for a 20 second demo instead of a bullet list.

Giving an AI a Microsoft account is either genius or the plot of a very specific horror movie. I cannot tell which one yet.

Was the demo live or pre-recorded? Asking because 'reachable by any channel' is a load bearing claim and I want receipts on the phone one.

How many people actually built this? If it's under 15 I'm going to need to lie down.

Watched three AI employee launches this month and this is the first one that committed to giving them a face. Bold choice, curious how uncanny valley plays in sales calls.

The face on the landing page has kerning tighter than my deadline anxiety. Also who approved that gradient behind the headshot.

Naive question but what happens when two AI workers from different companies email each other? Do they just loop forever or is there like a treaty?

The AI worker market is a race to the bottom the second every seed deck says the same sentence. Which is now.

One more thing for the roadmap: let me clone my best AI worker after 3 months and fork its memory. You know you want to build it.

Been tracking this space since we backed a few adjacent teams and the 'professional identity' framing is the smartest positioning I've seen. Everyone else is selling agents, you're selling coworkers.
