OpenCommerce is a buy tool from Agentcard for companies whose agents shop on behalf of users. One integration covers more than 5,000 stores, including DoorDash, Amazon, and most Shopify stores, so an assistant can search a catalog, build a cart, and send the user a payment link without a custom integration for each merchant. The launch matters now because buying has become a routine request inside personal assistants, while browser automation still breaks on captchas, bot checks, and checkout pages that were not built for agents. Setup is a CLI command that installs the Commerce SDK and adds a single buy tool. The user stores their own card in the Agentcard vault and approves each purchase with a passkey before the order is placed. Stripe Link and Shop are planned payment options and are not available yet. On the standard plan Agentcard charges 1% of each completed order. The company publishes repeated tests of search, add to cart, and checkout at monitored merchants, and says search and purchase responses come back in under 20 seconds. Agentcard is based in San Francisco and is part of the Y Combinator Summer 2026 batch. CEO Karen Serfaty previously led Atlas, an expense card for global teams acquired by Remote, and later ran cards at Remote. CTO Felipe Abello was the first employee at Rappi and previously founded Helloguru, a Y Combinator W22 company.
