About the launch
Composal (YC F26) sends a swarm of agents through a web product for engineering teams that ship with coding agents and still need to know whether a person can finish the flow. You give it an environment URL and can connect a repo plus sources of product intent such as Notion, PostHog, or Granola. The agents learn the product by using it, mapping features and exploring journeys in parallel, each with a different role, goal, and approach. When something breaks, Composal keeps a recording, logs, and the steps to reproduce the failure, then hands that evidence to a coding agent so it can make a fix and Composal can run the scenario again. Each run is designed to leave product knowledge and repeatable scenarios for the next change. The founders call the loop continual agent verification. CI checks the code, continuous delivery ships it, and this layer checks whether users can still accomplish their goals as the product changes. Pandelis Zembashis, Jonathan Davies, and Jan Moehlmann founded the London-based company in 2026. Zembashis, CEO, was previously CTO at Cosine (YC W23), where he built coding agents, an early CLI harness, and sandboxed execution. Davies, CTO, has built software for Telefónica, Vodafone, and Mitie. Moehlmann previously built commercial functions at 11x, Encord, and Tractable. They started Composal after watching agents get faster while the last check, a person clicking through the product, stayed manual.
