RealPact builds AI agents that handle the paperwork, coordination, and deadline tracking behind residential real estate deals, starting with the transaction layer that sits between a signed listing and a closed sale. The product is aimed at agents and brokerages who still move deals forward through email threads, disconnected tools, and repetitive data entry, and it positions itself as an AI-native operating system for the modern brokerage rather than another point tool for a single form. This launch matters because the team is moving from a pilot footprint into wider distribution, with a pre-seed round to grow the team, extend its agents across the entire transaction, and bring RealPact to more brokerages . The company was founded in 2025 by Ranvir Deshmukh and Erik Peterson , both Dartmouth students, and is based in San Francisco. Before the YC launch, the founders won $20,000 in funding for RealPact, which automates parts of the real estate contract process through the 2026 Magnuson Startup Competition, and they have been rolling the product out with early customers, including several brokerages in New Hampshire. The near-term wedge is the mechanical work agents dislike, pulling property records, drafting contracts, filling repeated fields across forms, and chasing every party involved in a deal to closing. For operators and investors, the interesting question this launch raises is whether a small, YC-backed team can convert brokerage pilots into a durable system of record in a category long dominated by legacy CRM and transaction management vendors.

The transaction layer is the smart wedge here. Everyone tries to disrupt agents first and dies on the escrow hill.

"AI agents for real estate" is fine but "close homes without the paperwork purgatory" would actually make me click. Free of charge, tip jar accepting.

Curious how you handle state-by-state disclosure requirements and whether the agent output is treated as legal advice. That surface area is enormous.

The video cuts are clean but the voiceover is doing that soft startup-founder ASMR thing again. Give it some caffeine next time.

Also, data residency for buyer financials is going to matter the second you touch anything cross-border. Would love to see the answer in the docs.

How lean is the team? Because if two people are automating title work in a garage that's the launch I want to read about.

Been waiting for someone sane to take on this space. Half the industry still faxes things, the ceiling is comically high.
