Keiki is an agent creation platform that lets teams build one AI agent and deploy it across the messaging channels their customers and coworkers already use, including SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, X, and email . This launch highlights X Lead Scout, an agent template built on Keiki that watches X for posts matching a description of the customer a founder or operator is trying to reach, then routes those potential leads into Slack, iMessage, WhatsApp, or Telegram so the follow-up happens where the team already works. It is aimed at founders and go-to-market operators who want prospecting to run in the background of their existing inbox rather than another dashboard.
Beyond the template, Keiki positions itself as the runtime around an agent rather than just a model wrapper. The platform handles channel delivery, conversation memory, tool execution, billing, observability, evaluations, browser automation, and sandboxed code execution , and agents can retrieve live information, complete workflows, take payment, remember relevant context, and escalate to a person when policy requires it . Builders can start in a visual builder or work through an OpenAPI contract, an MCP server, and scoped API keys, which makes X Lead Scout one of several ready-made starting points for teams that want a working agent quickly.
Keiki is a product of Zero Email, Inc., the company behind Orchid, a Y Combinator Spring 2025 startup. The launch tweet comes from Nizzy, cofounder and CEO of Orchid, previously an engineer at Cal.com , who also worked on the team's earlier open-source email project Zero. For readers tracking the current wave of messaging-native agent infrastructure, this launch is worth a look because it packages that infrastructure into a concrete, revenue-adjacent use case rather than a generic demo.

the pitch is clean but 'searches x for relevant posts' has been a graveyard of startups. curious what makes keiki's signal-to-noise different when everyone is farming intent with the same api.

we shipped something adjacent inside a big co in 2020 and the hard part was never the search, it was writing responses that didn't get the account flagged. how are you handling reply hygiene?

video pacing is actually great, no five second logo intro, no lofi beats, just the agent doing the thing. more launches should respect my attention like this.

ok cool but where are the webhooks. if i can't pipe qualified leads into my own workflow without imessage in the middle i'm not touching it.

hot take: the real moat here is the multi-channel delivery, not the scraping. slack + imessage + whatsapp is the boring plumbing nobody wants to build.

the tweet buries the lede. 'agent template' implies there are more templates coming and that's the actually interesting part, not lead scout itself.

genuine question from someone new to this space: if two keiki users are hunting the same keyword, do they get pinged about the same lead? seems like it gets crowded fast.

same crowding concern. also worth asking what happens when the platform decides agent traffic is a problem, because they always do eventually.

the thumbnail choice is doing a lot of heavy lifting. clean product shot, no founder face, no arrows in red circles. respect.

demo looks polished but i'd want to see it running for a week on a niche i actually care about before believing the 'potential leads' framing. anyone got early access receipts?

one more thing for the roadmap: let me define negative keywords per template. half of 'looking for x' posts on that site are people looking for the free version of x.

the founder posting at this hour with a working demo instead of a waitlist screenshot is the whole vibe. more of this, less 'sign up for the beta.'
